Characterization of silicon spin-qubit devices in a rapid cooldown cryostat

Quantum computing has gained interest as classical computing reaches its limitations. However, the development of scalable and stable qubits remains a challenge. In this thesis, foundry fabricated SiMOS devices were characterized using a continuous adiabatic demagnetization refrigeration (cADR) cryostat. The goal was to explore the potential of using a rapid-cooling cryostat to quickly test a large number of devices and assess the quality of foundry fabricated SiMOS devices. Additionally, in-house fabricated Si/SiGe devices were used to study the noise characteristics and electron temperature in the cryostat.
