Analysis of Composite Open Quantum Systems Using the Universal Lindblad Equation
This thesis uses the universal Lindblad equation to simulate different open quantum systems, such as the two level system, harmonic oscillator system, Jaynes-Cummings model and conical intersection system. By comparing to the analytical solution of the harmonic oscillator system, the feasibility of our simulation method is verified. We also derive the perturbative correction of the jump operator in the Jaynes-Cummings model from the pure photon annihilation operator. From that, we reveal the dynamics of the spin and photons, which matches the simulation results. Besides, we depict the dynamics in the conical intersection system by the simulations of several physical quantities as a function of time.
