Frustration Magnetism of Jarosite
In this thesis, the magnetism is explored, delving into the inherent properties of magnetic ions and the resulting magnetic orders they exhibit. The Curie-Weiss law takes a central role, providing insights into magnetic behaviors. The jarosite family, known for its distinct magnetic properties, is introduced, with a focus on its significance in magnetic research. Utilizing the Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM) as a primary investigative tool, the susceptibility of jarosite is analyzed, uncovering profound insights into its magnetic interactions and tendencies. The study bridges foundational magnetic principles with in-depth mineral studies, presenting significant findings on the magnetic susceptibility of jarosite.
