Modeling Majorana structures and devices

The physics of qubit devices based on Majorana zero modes span many orders of magnitude in length and energy scales. This requires a multi-step approach for accurate computational modeling. I will give an overview of the modeling activities and capabilities developed at Microsoft Quantum and also mention current development directions. Then, I will present a closer look at the optimization of 2DEG heterostructures for Majorana devices.
