Ginzburg-Landau Theory for superconductivity with imperfectly associated order parameter
We consider Ginzburg-Landau theory for the superconductivity with an order parameter whose phase dynamics is deviating slightly from u(1) and taking values in sl(2,R) or su(1,1).
This enhancement would alter the effective low energy theory of a superconductor and introduce new competition among different terms in GL Lagrangian.
We discuss some curious implications of these terms for the electromagnetic properties of such unconventional superconductors.
