Outreach: Charlie Marcus at Science & Cocktails

On Tuesday, May 6th, Charlie Marcus will appear as guest speaker at Science & Cocktails, an initiative that makes scientific knowledge more accessible and entertaining by combining public lectures with music/art performances, and, of course, cocktails!

Entrance to the event is free. No registration is necessary. Doors open at 19:00.

Do the laws of physics as we know them rule out voodoo, telepathy, telekinesis, homeopathy? Can a cat be really dead and alive at the same time? What does that even mean? What about a dog? What about you? What is a quantum computer and why does that help? Why is it so important that even NSA cares?
