Dynamics of Majorana fermions: topological protection and teleportation

We study the low frequency dynamic transport through a pair of Majorana fermions in a NISIN junction with time – dependent transparencies of the insulating (I) barriers. The dynamics is shown to be strongly affected by the interaction of the Majorana states and the junction transparencies. We find conditions on the time scales of adiabatic manipulation of the Majorana states and a criterion of their topological protection in time-dependent phenomena. The problem of quasiparticle teleportation between the Majorana states is addressed.
