Title: "Nanowire wrap-gate transistors: from multiple gates to soft materials"
Abstract: Our recent work has focused on routes to making more advanced gate designs for nanowire transistors. I will talk about our projects on developing nanowire transistors with multiple independent wrap-around gates composed of both metal-on-oxide and a soft polymer electrolyte material. The latter provides the ability to set and freeze in gate potential for low temperature transport studies, giving a new functionality to nanowire transport studies.
